Unusual and Funky but...

The colours are great, the cut is very good and would suit just about anyone. On the negative side, I'd say the cotton is not very 'soft' - it's rather like the sort of cotton a school shirt was made of in the finesse, just bog standard cotton. This means that the ebb and flow of this style doesn't quite work as it should, e.g. when you move and the ankles naturally ride up, say if you are sitting cross legged - then when you stand up again they stay stuck there in the middle of your calf rather than naturally dropping back down. You actually have to pull them down again with your hands which is pretty annoying. It also means that when you wear this as a top, the neckline sticks up and doesn't lie right. This style would be better suited to a softer material - for example, somewhere between jersey and viscose perhaps. If my negatives won't annoy you like they do me you will love them. Wish I'd returned but was seduced by the pattern and it's but a bit late now!
