But this gorgeous bird trinket box redresses the balance, made from shiny recycled aluminum, carefully and skilfully embossed with an image of a partridge on the lid, attached to a sturdy wooden backing. The wooden box in black forms the perfect contrast, and the whole is beautiful as well as seriously handy.
