Soapstone is amazing stuff, a rock so soft it can be carved into all sorts of complex shapes. It can also be dyed, being unusually absorbent thanks to the talc mineral it contains, which is what someone clever has done with this beautiful soapstone rainbow heart pendant. The stone feels lovely and cool, the colours are stunning, and it's smooth and chunky, a lovely hippy necklace that goes with so many of our tie dye, embroidered, printed and embellished clothes. A perfect finishing touch!
