The first thing to know about this wonderful pendant is it's made by just one woman in rural Bali, who only takes small branches from the Indian rosewood tree, also called the Sonokeling or Palisandre tree, to make them. The wood is also known as Indian Rosewood, incredibly dense with a rich colour ranging from chocolate to deep purple. Buy them and you help to support her family, a heart-warming touch. The moon's calm, smooth face is simply beautiful and there's no harm caused to the tree. What a great story.
