We adore this remarkably stable little foot stool from Northern Thailand, featuring a lovely hand carved image of a 'Chang' (elephant in Thai). They are far too nice to use as a naughty step! Because they're made by hand every stool is slightly different, with lovely natural variations. We recommend cleaning yours with a dry cloth to bring out the natural wax finish, deigned to protect the wood. If you want a high shine, use a natural beeswax polish. It's best to avoid silicone based aerosol polishes since they'll damage the finish.
